A rare case of continuous type Splenogonadal Fusion was diagnosed and operated in VietDuc hospital

Abstract

SUMMARY
Splenogonadal fusion (SGF) is a rare congential anomaly in which an abnormal connection between splenic tissue and gonadal structures is present. Very few cases have been diagnosed preoperatively. Here we present a case of 19 year-old male patient who had a left scotal mass that had initially discovered. Ultrasound and 64 slice – computed tomography revealed a mass above left testis go through inguinal canal, left abdomen and then connect to spleen. He was dignosed the continous type SGF and was operated to remove the redundant spleen.
