Abstract

The aim of our research is finding the correlation between clinical symptoms and MRI features of skull base mengiomas. From
8/2015 to 03/2016, a descriptive cross-sectional study involved 30 patients underwent MR Imaging 1.5T, histopathologically
determined meningioma after biopsy or resection at Vietduc Hospital. Headache is the most frequent symptom (83.3%),
correlate with tumor size, no correlation with location and cerebral edema on MRI. Paralysis of nerve I, II was found correlate
with location of meningiomas. We found a correlation between exophthalmia (10%) with the ocular invading on MRI. Thus, in our research, there is correlation between certains clinical symptoms with MRI features of skull base meningiomas.
