Abstract

Pediatric external auditory canal cholesteatoma (EACC) is a rare and progressive disease with potential erosion and high
destruction of neighboring structures. We report a case of right external auditory canal cholesteatoma in a three-year-old girl.
She was admitted to Vinmec Times City Hospital with several episodes of otorrhea and otalgia in the right ear for about one year
and was diagnosed with EACC. Otoendoscopic resection surgery was performed for treatment, and there was no recurrence
observed within nine months following the operation.
