Abstract

SUMMARY

This is a retrospective, cross-sectional study, applied on 32 tuberculum sella emeningiomas who had been diagnosed and treated in Cho Ray Hospital from January 2011 to December 2013. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the prevalence of some morphologic characteristics of tuberculum sella emeningiomas on MRI scan as well as some of its clinical features. The results are: most patient is female with female to male ratio 9,7:1, 75% of tumors have size range between 2-4cm, 78,1% patients have isointense signal on T1W, 71,1% hyperintese on T2W and 100%
hyperintense on FLAIR. The other importance signs are: dural tail (96,9%), tamping of visual nerve (78,1%) and chiasm (96,9%).
