Abstract
SUMMARY
Pseudoaneurysm of the pedal artery is an uncommon condition that is caused by traumatic injury or iatrogenic intervention and is rarely reported in the literature. Diagnosis is suspected by palpation of a pulsatile mass and detection of an associated systolic bruit. Doppler ultrasound is used to confirm the diagnosis. Angiography and
multi-slide computer tomography with showing lower limb artery can demonstrate the pseudoaneurysm mass, the
presence of collateral circulation and assure distal vascular flow. We present the case of a 30 year old man who has a pseudoaneurysm of the pedal artery for a month after trauma, a pseudoaneurysm mass in anterolateral surface of his left foot is showed by ultrasound and diagnosis is confirmed by multislice computed tomoangiography. The
patient underwent surgical resection of the mass and suture ligation of the pedal artery. He was full recovery after 4 days without complications.
