Abstract

SUMMARY

Objective: To evaluate the technical success, safety and outcome of endovascular embolization procedure in management of visceral artery pseudoaneurysm.
Method: 4 patients who were confirmed diagnosis by abdominal contrast enhanced computed tomography and treated by endovascular embolisation at Radiology Department of Bach Mai hospital. We used material embolization with coils and/or N-butyl cyanoacrylat to obliterate visceral artery
pseudoaneurysm.
Results: all patient were successfully treated, there was no complication during and after treatment. Follow up was done for a mean duration of 8 months: complete resolution of symtoms or improvement in clinical condition was seen in all.
Conclusion: Results of embolization of visceral artery pseudo-aneurysm with coils and NBCA at our department showed high success rate and good short term outcome.
