Abstract

Purpose: Evaluate the results of emergency treatment of bleeding organs by Angioembolization at Thanh Hoa General Hospital
Subject: 43 patients receiving emergency treatment for bleeding at Thanh Hoa General Hospital from October 2019 to October 2020.
Results: Average age 46.6 ± 19.9. The oldest patient is 90 years old; the youngest is 6 years old. 28 patients are bleeding due to trauma (65.1%). 15 patients are because of other causes (34.9%). The most common injury to the blood vessels is pseudoaneurysm (90.7%). After intervention, most patients recovered well (81.4%) and 2 patients died (4.6%).
Conclusion: Angioembolization for bleeding organs is a safe, less invasive, effective method with a high success rate.
